Intermittent Explosive Disorder
I noticed that, since I need to get myself into massive traffic jam, my temper have change from bad to worst. I often will lost temper and act "quite" agreesively towards, uhmm... retarded driver a.k.a cheebuy-driver-who-do-not-use-signal-light-or-cut-queue-somemore-with-no-feeling-sorry-face. Then, today I read news paper, it says, recently, research shown more and more people hving this "Intermittent Explosive Disorder" due to alot of stress, one of them, by traffic.
Definition
Intermittent Explosive Disorder falls in the category of Impulse-Control Disorders. This disorder is characterized by frequent and often unpredictable episodes of extreme anger or physical outbursts. Between episodes, there is typically no evidence of violence or physical threat. Often genuine regret is expressed after the outburst. Most patients are young men and history will often involve frequent traffic accidents, moving violations and possibly sexual impulsivity. These patients may exhibit extreme sensitivity to alcohol. This disorder is a controversial category because some clinicians believe that it is only a symptom of other diagnoses rather than a disorder on its own (Morrison, 1995).
Symptoms
Intermittent Explosive Disorder is marked by several discrete episodes of failure to resist aggressive impulses that result in serious assaultive acts or destruction of property.
The degree of aggressiveness expressed during the episodes is grossly out of proportion to any precipitating psychosocial stressors.
No other mental disorder or personality disorder better explains the symptoms.
These symptoms are not directly caused by a general medical condition or substance use, including medications and drugs of abuse.
Other disorders that should be ruled out are as follows: Antisocial Personality Disorder; Borderline Personality Disorder; Attention-Deficit /Hyperactivity Disorder; Conduct Disorder; Manic Episode, and psychotic diagnoses.

Causes
The majority of cases occur when the individual is between late adolescence and late twenties. There is some evidence of that the neurotransmitter serotonin may play a role in this disorder.
Although the prevalence of intermittent explosive disorder is unknown and considered rare, the disorder is probably more common than realized and may be an important cause of violent behavior. Intermittent explosive disorder is more common in men. However, women also have problematic impulsive aggression, and some women have reported an increase in intermittent explosive symptoms when they are premenstrual.
Treatment
Treatment could involve medication or therapy, with the best prognosis utilizing a combination of the two.
These patients often need psychological treatment along with medication treatment, and it is often very helpful to base their psychological treatment on addiction-based models.
Biofeedback has proven quite effective. This procedure involves using EEG biofeedback to facilitate learning in order to increase the amplitude of slow brain wave (alpha and theta) activity, and facilitate a more relaxed cognitive experience. A case study resulted in a patient describing calmly walking away from situations that would have previously triggered emotional conflict and physical tension after the fifth session. Soon after, at the end of sixth session, he was ready to begin tapering off session frequency beginning with alternate week training sessions.
Studies suggest that patients with intermittent explosive disorders respond to treatment with antidepressants and mood stabilizers*.
*Mood stabilizers vary at different individuals. Some people fancy about playing cards. Friends should give care (playing cards) to the patients on and off , for him/her to feel that he/she are being cared. Jerrys Nugget are the best stabilizers found till up to date.

if you think screwing up server is bad, think again.
Because the water dispenser on Level XX was switched back on by a member of the staff on Friday evening (after it was switched off at 6.00 pm that day) and was not switched off when he left later that day. Water leaked again on Saturday overnight and has caused extensive water damage to the offices below, resulting in [Co.] facing substantial compensation claims and a threat of termination of our lease agreement by KLCC Management.
Please note that NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO SWITCH THE WATER DISPENSER ON after 6.00 pm daily and on weekends.
Please observe the notices behind the dispensers which read:
"Due to constant malfunctioning of the water dispenser resulting in water leakage overnight, the dispenser will be shut down daily from 6.00 pm till 8.00 am and on weekends. Please consume the other beverages provided between these times.
Apologies for the inconveniences caused."

Last weekend, received a phone call from Sam. Asking us to go some fast food restaurant for a FREE MEAL. According to him, he won some prize in the contest and were given free meal in there. How lucky he was! I never even won a pencil!!!!

In physics, superheating (sometimes referred to as boiling retardation, boiling delay, or defervescence) is the phenomenon in which a liquid is heated to a temperature higher than its standard boiling point, without actually boiling. This can be caused by rapidly heating a homogeneous substance while leaving it undisturbed (so as to avoid the introduction of air bubbles at nucleation sites).
Because a superheated fluid is the result of artificial circumstances, it is metastable, and is disrupted as soon as the circumstances abate, leading to the liquid boiling very suddenly and violently-a very dangerous situation. Superheating is sometimes a concern with microwave ovens, some of which can quickly heat water without physical disturbance. A person agitating a container full of superheated water by attempting to remove it from a microwave could easily be scalded.

A liquid below its melting point will crystallize in the presence of a seed crystal or nucleus around which a crystal structure can form. However, lacking any such nucleus, the liquid phase can be maintained all the way down to the temperature at which crystal homogeneous nucleation occurs. The homogeneous nucleation can occur above the glass transition where the system is an amorphous — that is, non-crystalline — solid.
Water has a freezing point of 273 K (0°C) but can be supercooled at ambient pressure down to its crystal homogeneous nucleation at almost 231 K (-42°C).1 If cooled at a rate of the order of 1 million K per second, the crystal nucleation can be avoided and water becomes a glass. Its glass transition temperature is much colder and harder to determine, but studies estimate it at about 165 K (-108°C).2 Glassy water can be heated up to approximately 150 K (-123°C).3 In the range of temperatures between 231 K (-42°C) and 150 K (-123°C) experiments find only crystal ice.
Droplets of supercooled water often exist in stratiform and cumulus clouds. They form into ice when they are struck by the wings of passing airplanes and abruptly crystallize. (This causes problems with lift, so aircraft that are expected to fly in such conditions are found with a deicing system.)
An equivalent to supercooling for the process of melting solids does not exist: a solid will always melt at the same temperature for a given pressure. It is, however, possible to superheat a liquid above its boiling point without it becoming gaseous.

Cyberjaya - global centre against cyber-terrorism
Malaysia is to establish an international centre to fight cyber-terrorism, providing an emergency response to high-tech attacks on economies and trading systems around the globe, reports said yesterday. Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said during a visit to the United States that the facility, sited at the high-tech hub of Cyberjaya, would be funded and supported by governments and the private sector. The New Straits Times said the centre would be modelled on the Centre for Disease Control in Atlanta, which helps handle outbreaks of disease around the world. Abdullah - who announced the initiative at the close of the World Congress on Information Technology in Austin, Texas - said the threat of cyber-terrorism was too serious for governments to ignore.Severe loss"The potential to wreak havoc and cause disruption to people, governments and global systems has increased as the world becomes more globalised," he said according to the daily. "The economic loss caused by a cyber attack can be truly severe, for example, a nationwide blackout, collapse of trading systems or the crippling of a central bank's cheque clearing system," he said. "It is imperative that countries throughout the world work in concert to wipe out this danger." Abdullah said that big names including Symantec Corp of the United States, Japan's Micro and Russia's Kaspersky Lab had agreed to take part in the "International Multilateral Partnership Against Cyber-Terrorism" (IMPACT).
In another boost for Malaysian, which has gone to great lengths to develop its information-technology sector, computer giant Dell Inc said it would set up a technology and development centre in Cyberjaya. The facility will employ up to 1,000 people over the next few years, and its activities will cover process design and software development.
Dell, which first began manufacturing personal computers in the northern IT hub of Penang in 1995, currently employs 4,000 people in Malaysia.

He likes to comb his hair backward, open his forehead showing a dignify facial __expression. His eyes is sparkle, but slightly showing laziness. He walks firmly and slowly like a lion, confident and ego proud. Outside, you may think he is kind and gentle person, but inside he is a strong and secure person. If he is frighten, he will re-act and respond right away. His words always seem normal but mostly imply "order and demanding". He will not talk fast, or can not talk fast, neither walk fast. In a crowd or at work he will act normally, but not for long you will see him standing out of the crowd and be a center of attention with his words, or his action.
You might think he is a shy guy, but deep down inside he wants to power over his family and his friends. He just waits for that right moment. Do not take what is his, and do not order him, or else you will see a fierce lion. He respects elderly and senior, but will never bow down and accept like a looser for he will rather die than loose his dignity.
He talks bluntly even on an occasion that he should not say such thing. He is a compassionate guy and always look at other people on a bright side. He likes people to listen to him. Even he has such a blunt and bold personality, he could easily reach his goal without making any enemy.
Once disagree with him on something, he can be very up set like a rainy storm on a summer day. It will only last a short time, then he will be back a cheery merry person again. He is a bright and witty guy, and he will not put any efforts on something that he thinks it will not work and waste his energy. He is a good planner and can well manage his job assigned. When he gives order, he expect them to be carry out exactly. He is the leader type that the followers love.
He can give other people advice and solve problems for other people well, except his own mess. He can be easily hurt by other people especially if you do not trust or respect his ability. Beauty is always in the eyes of the lion. You have to be dignify to walk with the lion king. Your looks is part of his image and ego and he is very proud about it too. If you want his attention the first time you meet, you better be astounding attractive. If you have a first conversation with him, you have to show him how much you adore his thinking. He likes to talk and not knowing that he likes to talk about himself.

Pointing to older version of DB for testing. Prompt for "Update". Clicked Update BUTTON. the DB is screwed and up to now, its STILL restoring. Caused two DB to temp down.
Scenario Two
Lift arrived, go in first, press the Open BUTTON. Only realised, its the "INTERCOM" button. Someone speak and as if need for any help. DAMN
Scenario Three
Lift arrived, go in first, someone ask me to hold it for him. press the "OPEN" BUTTON. Becaused its hold for too long, alert sound. So decided to let go, BUT, that damn "open" button is STUCK and couldn't "bounce" back. Hence, the lift's door can't be close. Caused one lift under maintenance.
DAMN!!!!! I SUCKS AT BUTTON SINCE LAST FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today Special
Today is really NOT my day. Whatever test I did, all the result turn negative, whilst the other pc, works fine. This song cheer me up abit at 5.50PM. But weird thing is, its not any cheerful song.

Woke up at 3Am yesterday night. Doesnt feel too well. The feeling is strange. As if something gonna happen. I checked uder my bed, no kids with damn fair skin under my bed. I check in the toilet, no old women washing cloth. So I went back sleep.
Reach office as usual, not much workflow coming in. Listening to some music. Looks like a good day to me, the sun is doing good out there, the room temperature is just nice.
Then, I have a new request coming in, a totally new one to me. So after consult from senior, I start to work on it. Then, prompted for a page, to do some update. Shit happens.
I just overwrited the old version of DB to NEW one. WHICH IS WRONG~!!! TOTALLY WRONG!!!
The result, "server temporary out of service until further notice".
yeah, DAMN!!! the BIGGEST shit I ever created in this company. to most of my colleagues, this is FAR BIGGER than those they did. DAMN DAMN DAMN!
